Documentary and Shots

The documentary that I chose to watch is Blackfish. The scene that I paused on was when the killer whale seemed to purposefully land of its male trainer. This image is most definitely documentary-like because it is the actual video from the scene. It is not a reenactment so it shows exact what truly happened on that day. This picture seems like it is not a too far away shot. It is close enough to see the man begin to arch his back, as a protective instinct, from the whale. One thing that I noticed is that the video quality of all of the evidence is not the greatest. They seem to be obviously taken by random people in the crowds who luckily caught the events unfold on camera. Therefore in this part where I paused, you can see just enough to realize the severity of the incident. At this point in time, you know that the trainer is going to come out either severely injured or dead.
