For mine
I once again watched a documentary called A Man Who Delivers, A
day in the life of a London cocaine dealer. I stopped at a specific moment that
really can sum up the whole idea of the documentary. The scene, like the whole
documentary was centered on the car. That’s because he uses the car so often
that it has literally become apart of him. That is why they had added the
clock. Its 23:00 because that clock started at 0:00. They are literally trying
to show that this job has become him and all of his time. They reinforce this
with other scenes that show that it has taken over his whole life/ “whole day”
They use scenes with text messages. They use music with these that imply that he’s
losing something that…lets be honest…he doesn’t deserve if he cant pick a legal
job. I can understand why someone would sympathies with this person, but if you
told them…cocaine takes up my whole day and is wrecking my family. You would
say, “QUIT!” So, they do a great job. As he rides around the day literally
turns to night, and he does nothing but drive. Once again to imply it takes
over his whole life.
